Should you spend $20+ buying a Minecraft sword or should you try to make one? We opted for the latter. Most of the items we had already at home, and it took about 4 hours to make. The most time consuming part is waiting for the glue to dry.

Materials:
Enough cardboard for 4- 6 layers (thanks Amazon packages!)
We used 6
Glue
Minecraft sword template via Google or Pixel Art
Scissors, box cutter and/or Exacto knife
Ruler
Optional: tape
Steps:
Print out your template
Trace the template on one cardboard piece
Glue the cardboard pieces together
Cut out the template.
You will need one for each side.
Optional: Tape the edges
You can have the exposed edges, too.
Glue the template to each side
Let dry for at least 1 hour.
