Hey all! It's been awhile since we had a post. We've been working on this laundry room glow up the past few weekends. Check out the details and pics below. We are undecided on the accent wall, so stay tuned for that update.

Wood for floating shelves cut to length

Note: Home Depot will do simple cuts for customers. Check with your local store if you don't have any power tools.
Scrap wood piece for guard rail install
Paint (cabinet paint, primer for walls, and wall color)
Paint pan, roller and tape
Optional: storage for laundry soap, fabric softener sheets, and decorative plants
Steps
Cabinet Install
We followed this video and we made it. This part was actually pretty easy, fast and fun.
Paint
We painted the cabinet doors and shelves first.
We painted the walls next.
We then followed the instructions on the cans of paint and waited for everything to dry.
Shelves
We installed the shelves according to this video.
We added additional screw support on the sides of each shelf, because we didn't want everything to come tumbling down.
Optional: add items for storage and decoration. Plants are a game changer. Thanks HGTV.
